Haryana School Time Change: The timings of government schools in Haryana will change from tomorrow, i.e., 15 November. Government and private schools will start at 9:30 AM, and the closing time will be 3:30 PM.
Earlier, school timings were from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Orders regarding this change have been issued by the Education Department.
The orders clearly state that strict action will be taken against any school that fails to follow these instructions.
This decision has been taken by the Education Department due to the drop in temperature and the increasing cold weather.

Now read what will happen in schools with double shifts
Second shift will start at 12:40 PM:
The Directorate of School Education has revised the school timings from 15 November. Schools will run from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. In double-shift schools, the first shift will run from 7:55 AM to 12:30 PM. Earlier, the first shift used to run from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
After this, the second shift will start at 12:40 PM, and the school will close at 5:15 PM.
Strict orders mentioned in the letter:
In the letter issued by the Block Education Officer in Narnaul, it is written that school timings have been changed from 15 November. In compliance with the orders of the Directorate of School Education, it is informed that from 15 November to 15 February, the timings of all government and private schools will be from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. All schools must follow these orders.
Surprise inspections for private schools:
The letter further states that if any complaint is received from any parent or student, or if any school is found violating these orders during a surprise inspection, the matter will be forwarded to higher authorities. As a result, the school head will be held responsible for departmental and administrative action.
Holidays declared in Jind due to pollution
Government and private schools in Jind district have been closed until further orders. Jind DC Mohammad Imran Raza informed that the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of the district has been recorded at 418, which falls under the “severe category”.
Hybrid mode of classes in Gurugram
Gurugram DC Ajay Kumar issued orders stating that classes for primary students will now be conducted in hybrid mode due to rising pollution levels. Classes up to grade five will be held both online and offline. Parents may choose whichever mode of learning they prefer.
