PM Kisan Yojana : When will the 21st installment be released?

The government may release the 21st installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi on 19 November 2025. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 every year, distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.

PM Kisan Yojana : Which farmers will receive this benefit?

According to a recent statement by the Agriculture Minister, the 21st installment of PM-Kisan may be released on 19 November 2025. More than 11 crore farmer families have already received over ₹3.70 lakh crore through the previous 20 installments.

This financial support helps farmers not only buy agricultural inputs but also manage expenses like education, healthcare, and marriage. Only those farmers whose land details are registered on the PM-Kisan portal and whose bank accounts are linked with Aadhaar are eligible for the benefits.

Boost to rural economic development

The government has regularly conducted identification and verification campaigns to ensure all eligible land-owning farmers are included under the PM-Kisan scheme. Several special saturation drives have been carried out at the village level for verification and onboarding.

In 2019, the International Food and Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) conducted a study to assess the impact of the PM-Kisan scheme on farmers’ lives. The study found that the financial support provided under the scheme has played a significant role in boosting rural economic development.

New initiative for the people

Under the PM-Kisan Scheme, the Agriculture Ministry has also begun creating a Farmer Registry, a new initiative aimed at building a well-organized and thoroughly verified database. This registry will help farmers access various social welfare benefits more easily and eliminate complex procedures
